“Researchers in Schools” activity of the Reconnect Science with the Blue Society, Blue-connect project: Lecture and workshop “Plants and their hidden treasures”

On October 12, 2023, a lecture and workshop entitled “Plants and their hidden treasures” was held in the III. gymnasium in Split as part of the “Researchers in Schools” activity of the Reconnect Science with the Blue Society, Blue-connect project. The lecture was attended by 25 students who learned about the defense mechanisms of plants, specialized metabolites, various biological activities and their potential applications. The results presented to the students came from the activities of the project CROVeS-PhyBA funded by CSF.
