Our project manager Valerija Dunkić and project collaborator Marija Nazlić presented a research within the project on the „ The 1st International Conference on Antioxidants “. Congress was held in Barcelona, May 10 – 12, 2023. They presented their research with a poster presentation entitled „Antioxidant Activity of hydrosol extracts from Veronica species “. In this research composition of volatile compounds and antioxidant activity of hydrosols for five species was presented: V. cymbalaria, V. hederifolia, V. officinalis, V. persica, and V. polita. The compounds β-ionone, benzene acetaldehyde, (E)-caryophyllene, and caryophyllene oxide were detected in all five Veronica hydrosols studied.
