Congress was held in Lisbon, July 09 \u2013 14, 2022. They presented their research with a poster presentation entitled \u201e Green extracting as a contribution to sustainability: the case of <em>Veronica officinalis<\/em> L. \u201c. To gain insight into the differences between hydrodistillation (HD) and microwave extraction (ME), FVCs (free volatile compound) extracted from the aerial parts of <em>Veronica officinalis<\/em> L. were investigated. It is precisely because of the phytochemical constituents of the studied species, that <em>V. officinalis<\/em> L. is used in the traditional medicine. HD and ME extracts consist of an oil part and the water part (hydrosols).
