The students were introduced to various extraction techniques and with the help of the Faculty of Science employees (Ivana Vrca, Valerija Dunki\u0107, and Marija Nazli\u0107), they managed to isolate the essential oil and hydrosol using a modern extraction technique (microwave-assisted extraction). The device for the isolation of essential oils and hydrosols was purchased as part of the research project IP-2020-02-8425 (CROVeS-PhyBA) of the Croatian Science Foundation (HrZZ).
