On November 14, Anamarija Budimir, MSc. Phys. attended the First Meeting of Young Biophysicists, at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, with an oral presentation titled “Unstructured C-terminal in α-helical antimicrobial peptides modulates their activity”, by A. Budimir, I. Stojan, S. Pacor, L. Krce, T. Rončević, A. Tossi and L. Zoranić.
The event was organized by the Croatian Biophysical Society, with the Ruđer Bošković Institute as co-organizer, and endorsed by the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Science, University of Split and two sponsors: Labena d.o.o. and Apis Aurum.
This meeting brought together 30 participants, including early-career researchers who presented their research, as well as senior scientists as moderators, guest speaker Greta Grassmann from Sapienza University of Rome and invited speaker Aleksandra Maršavelski from the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.
