We are pleased to announce that our team member Assist. Prof. Dr. Tomislav Rončević has been awarded funding by the Croatian Science Foundation to lead a new research project entitled “Urinary catheters coated with antimicrobial peptides for the suppression of bacterial infections” (“Urinarni kateteri obloženi s antimikrobnim peptidima za suzbijanje bakterijskih infekcija”).
The project is funded under the Installation Research Projects Programme, and through it, awardees are enabled to form their own research groups and laboratories over a five-year funding period, with a strong emphasis on developing new research topics and innovative methodologies. https://hrzz.hr/rezultati-natjecaja-uip-2025-02/
