At the University of Split School of Medicine, on October 2nd and 3rd, the international conference HealthTech Adria 2025 was held, bringing together healthcare professionals, technology innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives to explore new solutions in the fields of digital health, medical technologies, and biopharmaceuticals. The conference was organized by the University of Split School of Medicine and NetHub, the health innovation hub and business accelerator (https://nethub.hr/).
The second day of the conference featured NetHub Catalyst 2025 Demo Day, where startup teams had the opportunity to present their ideas before an expert jury.
We are very pleased to announce that, among strong competition, Assoc. Prof. Tomislav Rončević, PhD, and his startup team PeptiFlow won the first prize.
This award serves as an additional encouragement for the development of Tomislav’s entrepreneurial idea, which applies scientific insights on the effects of antimicrobial peptides to protect medical equipment from bacterial infections.
Congratulations!
