Marija Pervan, our former student, and project PI, Jadranka Šepić, wrote a paper related to the eastern Adriatic sea level extremes. The paper represents an upgraded version of Marija’s masters thesis.

Authors analyzed sea level and meteorological measurements from Stari Grad tide gauge station. Three types of extremes were extracted from the data, long period positive sea level extremes, long period negative sea level extremes, and short period (T < 3 h) sea level extremes. All extremes were associated to governing synoptic conditions.

Congratulations to Marija on her first paper! We hope to see many more.
