Seasonal and spatial distribution of antibiotic resistance genes in marine microbial communities along a trophic gradient in central Adriatic Sea

The project will give comprehensive overview of the spatial and temporal distribution of genes encoding resistance to major antibiotic classes, the structure diversity of marine microbiome as their carrier and/or vector, as well as the routes of their exchange along a trophic gradient of central Adriatic Sea.
